Andie O’Donnell spread the offense around, and San Marcos put together one of its best performances of the young season in sweeping Oxnard on Tuesday night at the Thunderhut.
Oxnard came into the match ranked fifth in CIF Division 2-A. The Royals blew out the Yellowjackets, 25-19, 25-16, 25-10.
Carly Yarnell was a force in the middle, putting away eight kills and hitting .540. Emma Harrah hit .560 with six kills. Anika Wilson led the team with nine kills and Chloe Allen had seven.
O’Donnell had 26 assists, Wilson adlson added 12, Allen 10 and Alex Seyle nine.
Defensively, Allen led the team with eight kills.
