Laguna Blanca turned in a solid performance and swept visiting Santa Ynez, 25-20. 25-21, 25-17, in a non-league girls volleyball match on Wednesday.
“The girls played extremely well,” Laguna coach Jim Alzina said. “We had a well-balanced attack and played with a lot of passion.”
Grace Woolf paced the Owls with 12 kills. Dani Abrams added eight kills. Chloe Richman and Hannah White led the defense with 12 and 9 digs, respectively.
Alzina cited setter Clara Madsen for doing a good job of spreading around the offense.
Laguna Blanca (3-0) travels to Viewpoint on Thursday.
