The Dos Pueblos girls volleyball team is still ironing things out on the court.
The Chargers (2-5) struggled with their attack in a 25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21 loss to visiting Valencia in a non-league match on Tuesday.
“We are working out the kinks and trying to find a little fight in our play,” coach Todd Garrett said. “Right now we are playing soft..”
Natalie Klapp led the Chargers with 16 kills, Teah Burdick added 10 kills and Hillary Bean put down seven.
Garrett praised the versatility of Bean and Burdick and the back-row play of Sam Sander and Cha Cha Fisher. Raha Ibrahim also served well and picked up some digs.
