Cate’s boys cross country got a win from Andrew Robbins and freshman Dylan Ell finished second, leading the Rams to a 23-34 win over visiting Viewpoint on Saturday.
Robbins ran under 18 minutes to easily win the race. Ell clocked in at 18:30.
Charlotte Monke of the Rams won the girls race, but the Rams fell short in the team competition, 30-25. Monke won the three-mile race in 20:46. Rainbow Wang was the next Cate runner to come in at 23:47, beating a Viewpoint runner in a very tight sprint finish for fifth place.
