Junior Chris Bartholomew had a big varsity debut for the Santa Barbara High boys water polo team, scoring four goals on five shots in a 13-5 season-opening win over Oaks Christian on Tuesday.
Senior Wyatt Hagen scored his first two varsity goals and goalkeeper Sam Johnson made seven saves, had two assists and a steal.
Santa Barbara hosts Thousand Oaks next Tuesday.
