The 6th Keiki Paddle brought a record number of ocean paddlers to East Beach this year in an annual event that raises money for local children facing life-threatening illnesses.
The group of over 100 paddlers started at Goleta Beach and made the nearly 10-mile trip to the landing at East Beach in Santa Barbara. Each was raising money to support beneficiaries Sam Helfand and the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation.
