A pair of Santa Barbara teams won titles and earned berths in the Cal Cup at the Rox Tour Stop event that?s part of the California Beach Volleyball Association?s Youth Tournaments on Tuesday at East Beach.
Cassidy Drury-Pullen of Santa Barbara teamed with Milla Anderson of Danville to capture the Girls 14-Under Division, while local player Barron Mainz and Kyle Skinner of Arroyo Grande punched their ticket to the Cal Cup by winning the Boys 16-Under title.
The Cal Cup is on Sept. 1 at the Manhattan Beach Pier.
Mainz-Skinner defeated Matt Yoshimoto (Oxnard) and Rob Mullahey (Manhattan Beach) in Tuesday?s final. Anderson and Drury-Pullen beat the local combo of Brynna Hodosy and Caylin Zimmerman.
Two boys teams finished as runners-up: Sebastian Hallig and Braeden Lisea in the 14s, and Tristan Fauntleroy and Ean Silbar in the 18s.
