Goleta Valley South’s Junior All-Stars dropped a 5-3 decision to Saticoy in the double-elimination round of the District 63 Little League Junior Division Tournament on Saturday.
Goleta Valley South will play an elimination game Sunday against either Dos Pueblos or Fillmore at 3 p.m. at the GVSLL Fields.
Thomas Hantgin reached base four times in the game on two hits and two walks. He also drove in a run and scored a run. Bryce Quezada scored a run and also got on base four times via a hit, a walk and twice being hit by pitches.
Saticoy rallied from a 3-0 deficit, taking the lead with two unearned runs in the sixth inning.
