Kyle Gonzalez drove in four runs, and Goleta Valley South erupted for nine runs in the second inning en route to a 20-1 rout over Fillmore in a District 63 Junior All-Stars elimination game on sunday at GVSLL.
Goleta Valley South will play Monday against Saticoy in an elimination game. The winner advances to play unbeaten Dos Pueblos in the championship game.
Gonzalez and Ryan Guardino each had three hits in the five-inning game. Guardino scored four runs and Kyle Ownsby scored three times. Blake Katsev had two hits and three RBIs and Sam Roberts drove in three runs on two hits.
Louis Shalhoob earned the win on the mound.
