Last weekend the Goleta Thunder 14U softball team met their toughest competition so far this summer in the Santee “Bring on the Heat” Tournament but managed to take home another first place title.
Madi Pickett dominated the circle having a total of eleven strike outs. Cate Clancy and Rocky Uyesaka led the team with hits and RBIs. Lauren Buie drove in the two winning runs in the championship game against Santee with her single to left field.
The Thunder is now 17-1 winning its fourth tournament in a row and they play this weekend in Simi Valley.
