Wyatt Boyle doubled and scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch as Dos Pueblos rallied past Saticoy, 9-7, to win its pool in the District 63 Junior Division All-Star Tournament on Sunday.
Dos Pueblos will next play Fillmore on Saturday in the first game of the double-elimination portion of the tournament.
Dos Pueblos trailed 7-4 after four innings. A solo homer by DJ Sharpe in the fifth made it 7-5.
DP tied the score two runs in the sixth. Ashton Borgeson scored the tying run. In the seventh, Boyle doubled off the left-field fence and eventually scored on a wild pitch to put DP ahead 8-7. Borgeson doubled in Will Goodwin for a 9-7 advantage.
Sharpe had a big day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two homers, four RBIs and two runs scored. One of his homers was a three-run blast which gave DP a 4-1 lead in the second inning.
