San Marcos’ Michael Orosco-Moore, Caroline Vance and Charlotte Garratt kept their seasons going on Saturday by advancing past the CIF Division 3 Track & Field Prelims.
With personal records in both events, Caroline Vance placed third in the long jump (17’9.5″) and seventh in the triple jump (36’9.25″). Vance also competed on the Royals’ 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams. The 4×400 relay team posted a season-best but finished one spot away from advancing.
Orosco Moore placed seventh in the shot put with a personal best throw of 51’1.5″. Charlotte Garratt was top-nine in the high jump, clearing 5’2″ without a miss.
