Santa Barbara High won all three sets against Thousand Oaks’ No. 1 player en route to a 14-4 victory over Thousand Oaks in a first-round CIF Division 1 boys tennis playoff match on Wednesday.
The Dons (15-3) won seven of nine points in singles and doubles.
“Our doubles teams were dominant as I expected, and I was also impressed by how our singles players were undefeated against their No. 1 player, Alex Solonin, who is highly ranked,” said Dons coach Greg Tebbe.
