Chloe Madill belted a two-run homer and added two more hits, leading Dos Pueblos to a 6-2 win over Santa Barbara in a Channel League softball finale on Thursday.
The Chargers will enter the CIF Division 4 playoffs with a sparkling 21-3-1 record. They went 10-2 in league, finishing second to Buena.
Madill’s homer in the third gave DP a 4-0 lead. Ady Willett went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored.
Sophomore Lani Evans pitched a two-hitter and struck out 14.
