Laguna Blanca’s second-seeeded boys volleyball team posted a 25-12, 25-18, 25-11 CIF win over Holy Martyrs in the first round of the Division 5 tournament.
“Our offense was pretty good overall and our outside hitters came to play tonight, hitting .333 and .300,” said Owls head coach Dillan Bennett.
Stephen McCaffrey recorded a team-high 13 kills and JT Aubrey had 10. Aubrey added 12 digs for a double-double.
Laguna Blanca (16-2) has won 15 matches in a row. The second round is Thursday.
