The San Marcos girls improved to 4-0 in the Interscholastic Beach Volleyball League with wins over Redondo Union and Westlake last weekend in Playa del Rey.
The teams of Katie Kim-Andie O’Donnell and Kristen Berlo-Anika Wilson posted three-set wins to give the Royals a 2-1 victory over Redondo.
Against Westlake, Berlo-Wilson and Clare Holehouse-Alex Seyle swept their opponents for the team win.
San Marcos jumped from eighth to fourth in the latest IBVL rankings. Valencia is No. 1 followed by Mira Costa, Huntington Beach and the Royals.
The next tournament is April 13.
