Carpinteria’s boys and girls track & field teams?finished second to Oak Park in a four-way meet on Wednesday, while defeating Bishop and Grace Brethren.
The Warrior boys lost to Oak Park 92.5-43.5 and the girls 105.5-30.5.
The Carpinteria boys are 8-1 overall, and 2-1 in the Tri-Valley League. ?The girls are 5-4 overall and 2-1 in the Tri-Valley League.
Bryson Frazer helped the boys secure second place by winning the 100 (11.13)?and 200 (22.47). Trevon Guevara won the long jump for the Warriors with a distance of 19′ 1/2″.
Nicole Pepper was the only girls winner from Carpinteria, taking home the 100m hurdles (18.39).
Carpinteria hosts the 94th Russell Cup on Saturday.
