Carpinteria and Santa Paula split the difference in Thursday’s non-league dual meet as the Warrior boys won 75-60 and the Warrior girls lost 75-61.
Bryson Fazer won the 400 in a time of 51.23 and Kyle Millhollin won the 200 in 24.08. Both athletes contributed to winning relay performances in the 4×100 and 4×400.
In the field events, Xavier de Alba won the discus and freshman Timothy Jimenez was triumphant in the long jump.
For the Carpinteria girls, Linda Buchmiller captured two individual wins in the shot put and discus. Other victories for the girls team included freshman Gaby Fantone in the 100 hurdles (19.05) and Alleea Griffin in the 100 (13.71).
The Warriors compete in a Tri-Valley League meet next Wednesday against Oak Park before hosting the Russell Cup on Saturday.
