Providence Hall’s Lacey Gonzalez and Katie Hodson won events in their first competitions as the Lions traveled to Ojai on Wednesday for a Condor League track & field meet.
Gonzalez won the discus the first time she contested the event at a competitive meet. Same with freshman Katie Hodson, who won the high jump.
Junior Nathaniel Hodson won the high jump and shot put for the Lions while also placing second in the long jump.
Tenley Force was another double winner in the 100 and 200 meter sprints.
Providence Hall competes again at the Russell Cup in 10 days.
