Dos Pueblos’ boys tennis team improved to 3-1 in Channel League competition on Thursday by taking down Buena 16-2.
The Chargers fell to Calabasas 11-7 on Wednesday in a non-league match. On Friday, DP plays its fourth match in four days when its hosts Stockdale.
The Chargers were able to conserve some energy for that match by subbing out all their starting doubles teams after the first round against Buena. Dos Pueblos played 17 players in all.
Joshua Wang and Dylan Zapata were the only Dos Pueblos players to play three sets on Thursday and both won all three in singles.
