Dos Pueblos swept the doubles en route to a 12-6 Channel League boys tennis win over visiting San Marcos on Tuesday.
The teams had to deal with swirling winds that made playing difficult.
Mason Casady-Joshua Wang, Andrew Tufenkian-Alex Yang and Ankush Khemani-Greg Steigerwald led the way for the Chargers. Khemani-Steigerwald rallied from a 1-4 deficit in the first round, got the set to a tiebreaker and prevailed 7-2. They won the next two sets 6-1, 6-0. Casady-Wang improved to 28-2 with a 6-1, 6-4, 6-1 day. Tufenkian-Yang won 6-1, 6-3, 6-1.
In singles, Peter Jivkov and Luca Ferrari of San Marcos were dominant in sweeping their three sets.
Dos Pueblos improves to 10-4 overall and 5-1 in league.
