Alex Valente set a meet record, leading five Dos Pueblos swimmers into the finals at the Mt. SAC Invitational on Friday.
Valente won the 100 butterfly prelim in a meet-record time of 49.64. He also took first in the 100 backstroke in 52.32.
Blake Parrish was another winner for the Chargers, taking the 100 breaststroke in 57.98.
Walker Bell finished second in the 500 freestyle (4:45) and third in the 200 individual medley (1:56.60).
Other DP qualifiers were Graham Young (13th in the 200 free in 1:51.8, and 13th in the 100 free in 51.07), Grant Schroeder (fifth in the 50 free in 22.31 and sixth in the 100 breaks in 59.86), Parrish (8th in the 50 free in 22.54) and Ryan Montag (13th in the 100 back in 57.31.
