Dos Pueblos edged Ventura 3-2 on Tuesday for a Channel League victory.
The Chargers scored the eventual winning run in the fourth inning. Alyssa Lewis started the inning off with a single and scored on an RBI hit by Haley Peterson after Lewis was sacrificed to second base by Monica Salas. Ady Willett drove home two runs in the third inning on a double.
Veronika Gulvin earned her 13th win of the season in the pitcher’s circle.
The two teams meet again on Thursday at Dos Pueblos.
