Bishop Diego’s softball team suffered a 19-11 defeat to St. Bonaventure in the Frontier League opener on Tuesday.
The Cardinals were leading 11-9 late in the game before the Seraphs took off for 10 runs in the top of the seventh inning.
Ali Everson was 4-for-4 and drove home three runs. Isabella Gregson finished 4-for-5.
The Cardinals play another league game on Thursday at Villanova.
