Santa Barbara High’s Madeline Trabucco and Kelsey O’Brien join Jaime Neushul of Dos Pueblos as members of the All-Southern California girls water polo first team.
The players were selected to the honor squad based on votes from a panel of 15 coaches.
Trabucco was one of four players on the 12-player first team to receive the maximum number of first-place votes. The Dons’ senior goalkeeper is headed to Cal-Berkeley after helping her team reached the CIF Division 1 semifinals.
O’Brien is headed for UCLA and Neushul is Stanford bound.
UCSB commit Sophie Trabucco, of Santa Barbara High, and Brown University signee Hannah Koper, of San Marcos, were named to the All-So Cal third team.
Santa Barbara’s Rocio Fesembeck earned fourth-team honors while junior Betsy Hendrix of the Dons and San Marcos junior Halie Johnson were picked to the fifth team.
Shannon Cleary, a junior at Dos Pueblos, was named to the sixth team.
