A night after its biggest victory of the season, San Marcos’ boys volleyball team defeated Santa Ynez 25-22, 25-15, 25-16 on Friday night.
The Royals came into the match playing some of their best volleyball of the season, having just beaten Santa Barbara last night.
Emerson Pizzinat led the way with nine kills and Tony Suleiman added five of his own.
The Royals, ranked No. 7 in Division 2, improve to 19-8 on the season. They can reach 20 wins on Tuesday at Buena.
