Laguna Blanca’s boys volleyball team swept up Cate School on Wednesday in a 25-15, 25-21, 25-21 Condor League victory.
The Owls maintained their perfect record in league play at 5-0.
“I was most proud of our middles tonight, who had to deal with having two setters tonight. We changed things up a bit and ran a 6-2 offense after having only one setter all season,” said Laguna Blanca head coach Dillan Bennett.
Colton Johnson recorded a team-high eight kills and five aces while adding 10 digs. Ryan Bickett’s 26 digs led the team in that category to go with his three aces. Eli Bittleston collected seven kills and a team-high 1.5 blocks.
Laguna Blanca (11-2) travels to the Viewpoint Tournament on Saturday.
