Bishop Diego captured the consolation title at the Viewpoint Volleyball Tournament on Saturday in Calabasas.
The Cardinals beat Laguna Blanca, 25-20 in the consolation semifinals and defeated Malibu, 25-18, in the final.
“We were led by the consistent play of Chandler Swift and the dominant net play of Will Busch,” said Bishop coach Jason Donnelly. “Senior Tommy Aijian stepped into a middle blocker role and played really well throughout the course of the day.”
The Cardinals went 4-4 in the tournament.
