Dos Pueblos’ offense collected 12 hits in Wednesday night’s 5-2 victory over Camas, Wash. in an Anaheim Lions Tournament game.
Anthony Spiritosanto went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Ben York was 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and four stolen bases. Dylan Rohde was the third Charger with a multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with a run scored. Spiritosanto and Tyler Harris connected for doubles.
Playing its fourth game in four days, Dos Pueblos used five pitchers to get through seven innings. Daniel Buratto earned the win by pitching the fifth and sixth innings. He was the pitcher of record when the Chargers grabbed the lead with a three-run bottom of the sixth inning. Luke Coffey replaced Buratto in the top of the seventh and recorded the save.
Camas’ offense came from two solo home runs by Tyler White, the Papermakers’ star player who also pitched a complete game in Wednesday’s game.
Dos Pueblos is now 10-8 this season. Camas is 2-8.
