San Clemente scored four times after the fourth inning to defeat Dos Pueblos 5-2 in an Anaheim Lions Tournament game on Tuesday.
San Clemente, winners of eight in a row, improve to 13-3 on the season.
The Tritons’ Jake Thomas was 2-for-3 with three RBI.
Dos Pueblos took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the third inning but failed to cross the plate again despite outhitting San Clemente 6-4.
Ben York tripled home Luke Coffee to score DP’s first run. Dustin Demeter then singled home York in the next at-bat. James Savage was 2-for-3.
Josh Tedeschi pitched a complete game for the Chargers and was charged with just one earned run.
Starter John Sheaks earned the win by pitching 5 1/3 innings and Chris Puckett finished off the final 1 2/3.
Dos Pueblos is now 9-7 overall.
