Dos Pueblos won Thursday’s Channel League dual meet with Santa Barbara High in both the boys and girls competitions.
The Charger girls won 100-26 while the boys meet was much closer at 72-55.
Gavin Koehn helped bring Santa Barbara 24 of its points with two individual wins and two relay wins. Koehn bested the field in the 100 and 200 meter runs, and contributed to victories in the 4×100 and 4×400 relays.
Koehn, Tobey Sy, Andres Castro and Brent Walker recorded a time of 44.50.20 in the 4×100. In the 4×400, the Dons won in 3:35.50.
The discus was another solid event for the Dons. Jalen Commadore’s throw of 135.11 earned the victory. SB’s Jesse Alcantar and Skyler Payovich went 2 and 3 in a Dons sweep.
RJ Adderly also picked up a win in the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.27.
For the girls, Kelli Martindale won the 100 hurdles and high jump, and was second in the shot put.
