A day after winning a Tri-Valley League match over Nordhoff, Carpinteria’s boys tennis team was turned around 14-4 in a non-league match with Ventura.
The Cougars are a Division 1 school out of the Channel League.
“I was happy with our overall effort and we had a lot of close sets as well,” said Warriors head coach Charles Bryant.
The Warriors doubles team of Jonathan Cleek and Ben Murray won two-of-three sets. Carpinteria claimed two sets in singles.
Carpinteria now stands at 3-6 overall, 1-1 TVL.
