SBCC captured the final two doubles matches to edge Saddleback 5-4 on Friday in a nonconference men’s tennis match at Mission Viejo.
The Vaqueros (7-4) went 3-3 in singles, thanks to an epic 3-6, 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (2) comeback win by Fabian Lundberg at No. 1 singles.
After dropping the first doubles set, SBCC rallied for the win behind victories from Lundberg/Marius Moelsgaard 8-5 and Carlo Bierbaum/Soufiane El Mhamdi 8-2.
The Vaqueros are 3-1 in matches decided by a 5-4 score this season.
SBCC hosts Bakersfield on Thursday at 2 p.m.
