Carpinteria’s No. 3 doubles team of Ben Murray and Jonathan Cleek sweep their three sets, but Oak Park was too solid all around and beat the Warriors 14-4 in a Tri-Valley League boys tennis match on Thursday,
“Overall, we had some tight sets and many tight games, but lack of experience in closing hurt us,” said coach Charles Bryant.
The team of Ricky Zermeno/Collin Nathanson picked up Carpinteria’s fourth point.
Carpinteria is 3-7 overall and 1-2 in the TVL.
