Ben Murray won two of three singles sets for Carpinteria on Thursday, but the Warriors fell 15-3 to Oaks Christian in the Tri-Valley League opener.
The doubles team of Collin Nathanson and Ricky Zermeno was responsible for the Warriors’ other point.
Carpinteria falls to 2-5 overall, 0-1 in league play.
