Freshmen Spencer Ekola and Tyler Greenwald won their three singles sets, leading Bishop Diego to a 13-5 non-league boys tennis win over Dunn on Saturday.
Ekola won his sets by 6-0 scores. Greenwald battled back from a 4-5 deficit to pull out a 7-5 win against Dunn’s Ayindu Clear. No. 3 Jake Stratford-Jones beat Dunn’s No. 1 Balam Custaneda in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (3).
In doubles, Bishop’s No. 1 team of Johnny Ford and Alvoid Bennett lost only one game in three sets.
