Santa Barbara High’s boys tennis finished with a 2-2 record at the prestigious National Invitational All-American Tournament in Newport Beach.
The Dons beat Potomac of Virginia, 7-1, to advance to the consolation final, where it lost to Viewpoint 5-3.
Santa Barbara was led by Jack Damen and Jordan Rodnick, who each had a match record of 6-1 over the two-day tournament. Ryan Chung was undefeated in the tournament going 3-0 and Mitchell Kuhn went 3-1.
The Dons lost to La Jolla (6-2) and beat Jesuit (7-1) on the first day of the tournament.
Santa Barbara faces another tough opponent on Wednesday, hosting Palos Verdes.
