Santa Barbara High’s boys tennis team won its first two matches at the weekend’s California Classic tournament in Fresno.
The Dons topped Los Gatos 6-1 followed by a 4-3 victory over Leland. The two wins places Santa Barbara in Saturday’s semifinals.
Jackson Powell won Santa Barbara’s only point in singles against Leland as the Dons were able to capture all three doubles points in both matches.
