Bishop Diego’s boys tennis team dominated Villanova on Monday in a 16-2 decision.
The Cardinals swept all nine doubles sets, including three from Jose Pacheco with three different partners. Johnny Ford-Andre Kohansamad and Jake Stratford-Jones-Spencer Stoves stayed together for three wins each. Ford and Kohansamad cruised 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.
“The doubles teams really came through for us today,” reported Cardinals head coach Debbie Ekola. “I very proud to coach such wonderful and talented group of young men. Bishop Diego tennis is back!”
Spencer Ekola and Tyler Greenwald swept three sets each in singles.
