Bishop Diego won its third straight Frontier League match, beating Santa Clara 13-5 on Thursday in Oxnard.
Spencer Ekola won both sets he played and lost only two games. Cameron Roberts subbed in the third set and earned his first victory of the season.
Bishop’s No. 1 doubles team of Andre Kohansamnad-Johnny Ford edged out a 6-4 win over Santa Clara’s top team and improved to 8-0 for the season.
The Cardinals are 5-1 overall.
