Sahid Coteh score two goals, and the Santa Barbara Soccer Club’s under-15 boys won their fourth straight match and advanced to the semifinals of the prestigious Dallas Cup on Thursday.
Santa Barbara blanked the San Diego Surf Academy 3-0, scoring all of its goals in the first half.
Santa Barbara will face the Arsenal Academy of Southern California Friday morning for a spot in the championship match.
Coteh scored the first goal. He got behind the Surf defense, collected a through ball from Jules Pasco and beat the goalkeeper.
Francisco Arroyo fed a through ball to Giovanny Acosta for the second goal.
The third goal came after a restart. Juan Pablo Alvarez crossed the ball and Coteh finished with a header to the far post.
