San Marcos senior Kevin Hempy has been placed on the All-CIF First Team for Division 3AA.
The forward averaged 11.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game for the Royals this season. San Marcos finished with a 19-9 record and reached the CIF quarterfinals.
Damien’s Jeremy Hemsley, only a sophomore, is the division’s Player of the Year. He averaged 19 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game in 33 games played.
Hemsley’s coach, Matt Dunn, is Coach of the Year for leading the Spartans to the CIF divisional championship and a 26-7 record.
