Andrew Stanfield’s final-round 66 at the Goleta City Golf Championship sent the 19 year old to the title at Glen Annie Golf Course last weekend.
Stanfield’s round, with eight birdies, was three strokes better than the next lowest in the two-day event. Stanfield currently plays at Ventura College and will be playing at Long Beach State next year.
Stanfield’s two-day total of 141 edged out Robin Kang by one stroke.?Kang and fourth-place finisher Brent Meschuk held the lead after Saturday’s first round with opening 69s.
Jerry Ledzinski claimed third place and Sean Searls was fifth for the second-straight year.
Abraham Placencia won the First Flight and Joseph Morin triumphed in the Second Flight.
