Santa Barbara High’s girls basketball players Ivette Gil and Melissa Lemus have been named to the All-CIF First Team in the Southern Section’s Division 3AA.
The pair is part of a select group as eight players were given the first-team distinction in addition to two MVPs.
Alemany’s Leslie Lopez-Wood and Hannah Johnson were named co-Players of the Year for the division.
Gil and Lemus, both seniors, led Santa Barbara (25-9) to the divisional semifinals and a spot in the State Tournament.
