The Dos Pueblos JV Boy’s Volleyball Team traveled to Royal High School in Simi Valley this last Saturday.
They played hard and took first place in their pool by beating Royal (B) 25-10 & 25-1, Agoura 25-11 & 25-9 and Granada Hills 25-15 & 25-10. In first round of playoffs they beat Buena 25-14. In the semi finals DP met Royal and won 25-15 & 25-20. In the finals Dos Pueblos played against home town San Marcos High School and won 25-20 & 25-13.
Coach Ehren Hug had this to say about his team: It was a day drenched in hard work on the defensive side. We let very few balls go down without a touch and our block in the middle was solid from Eli Schulman and Kurt Randmaa. Aggressive attacking and serving saw the boys playing together extremely well. All in all, they grabbed every ounce of fun to be had in that gym and won.
