Laguna Blanca’s boys volleyball team snapped out of an early funk to record a 21-25, 25-23, 26-11, 25-19 non-league victory over Santa Ynez.
“We came out pretty flat tonight due to the fact that half of our team is either sick or getting sick. Lucky for us we only had tonight’s match this week, so we can take the next few days to get healthy,” said Owls head coach Dillan Bennett.
Colton Johnson led Laguna Blanca on offense with 11 kills and totaled a double double with 10 digs. Stephen McCaffery led the team with 27 digs.
Laguna (2-2) plays at Dunn next week.
