Laguna Blanca’s second-ranked boys volleyball team swept Dunn School in Wednesday’s Condor League opener 25-14, 25-9, 25-10.
The Owls (3-2, 1-0) are the No. 2 team in CIF-ss Division 5.
Laguna head coach Dillan Bennett said his team played relatively mistake free.
“I was really happy with our attack efficiency and our defense. We had three guys in the back row today that didn’t let a ball hit the ground near them,” Bennett said.
Pierce O’Donnell led the team with 13 digs while Ryan Bickett and Ethan Katnic also drew praise for their defense.
Dalton Smith, Colton Johnson and Andrew Vignolo matched each other with seven kills each to lead the team on offense.
Laguna Blanca next hosts its first ever Laguna Blanca Boys Classic at Bishop Diego High School on Saturday.
