Dos Pueblos’ boys volleyball team evened its record on Friday night with a 28-26, 26-24, 17-25, 25-20 victory at Royal.
The Chargers (1-1) featured a balanced attack.
“It was a good team game, not a ton of errors,” explained Dos Pueblos head coach Chris Hughes.
CJ Zajic led the Chargers with six kills on nine attempts from the middle. Matt Sessler added five kills while Nico Plesons produced 17 digs. Jordan Foster contributed four blocks and Erick Mathieson recorded three of DP’s five aces.
The Chargers play again on Saturday as they host Westlake at 6 p.m.
