Bishop Diego’s boys volleyball team captured its Tri-Valley League opener with a 25-22, 25-22, 25-19 sweep of Malibu on Thursday in the Brickhouse.
Jose del Campo’s 10 kills were a team-high. Will Busch and Chandler Swift added nine kills each.
Senior setter Troy Skinner recorded 32 assists as the Cardinals’ main distributor.
Bishop Diego moves on to host rival Carpinteria next Tuesday.
