Isaac Rodriguez pitched his second complete game of the young season and had two hits, leading San Marcos to a 4-1 win over Nordhoff and sweep of a doubleheader on Saturday at Joe Mueller Field.
Sean Nakano-West pitched 5 2/3 innings in a 5-2 victory in the first game, and the Royals improved to 4-3.
Rodriguez didn’t walk a batter and gave up only five hits. At the plate, he went 2-for-2 with a double.
Sean King and Matt Marino drove in runs for the Royals.
Marino had two RBIs and two hits and David Foster had a pair of hits in the first game.
Paxton Ridgway closed out the game for San Marcos to pick up the save.
After losing their first three, the Royals have won four in a row.
